Surestart is a government funded initiative specifically for families with children under 4.
Research has shown that where children have access to early intervention and positive play opportunities then their long term prospects will be better.
The overall aim of Surestart is “to improve the well being and life opportunities of young children under 4, through better health, childcare, and educational opportunities” so that “children can flourish when they enter school.”
