Welcome to Gold Sure Start
Sure Start is a government-funded programme created to support families with children under 4 who live in the top 25% most disadvantaged areas in Northern Ireland.
We know that the early years matter. Research shows that children who have access to early support, play, and positive experiences go on to thrive at school and enjoy brighter futures.
What We Do
At Gold Sure Start, we’re here to walk alongside you and your family. Together we aim to:
Support learning – through fun, stimulating play, building language and communication skills, and picking up on any additional needs early.
Promote health – by helping parents care for their children and encouraging healthy growth and development from the very beginning.
Encourage social and emotional wellbeing – by strengthening parent–child relationships, building confidence in parenting, and providing early support for children’s emotional, learning, or behavioural needs.
